Chicken Liver Pâté: Recipe

Ingredients

  • chicken liver - 0.500 g
  • onion - 1 piece (large)
  • carrot - 1 piece (medium)
  • ground nutmeg - 0.5 tsp
  • ground black pepper
  • salt
  • butter 82% - 100 g
  • sunflower oil for frying

Step-by-step recipe

1. Rinse the liver with water, clean it of fat and membranes.

2. Fry the liver in a pan until cooked, adding salt.

3. Peel the onion, dice it, and fry it in sunflower oil.

Next, grate the peeled carrot coarsely and add it to the onion.

Sauté until soft.

4. Combine the liver with the vegetables, add spices, and blend using a blender.

5. Add the room temperature butter to the pâté and mix with an immersion blender.

6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours.
